Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection to your VozAgent account. When enabled, signing in requires both your password and a 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app. Even if someone learns your password, they can’t access your account without your phone. To manage 2FA, go to Settings in the sidebar, click the Security tab, and scroll to the Two-Factor Authentication card.

How It Works

With 2FA enabled, your sign-in process becomes:
  1. Enter your email and password as usual.
  2. Open your authenticator app on your phone.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app.
  4. You’re signed in.
The code changes every 30 seconds, so even if someone sees a code, it’s only valid for a brief window.

Supported Authenticator Apps

VozAgent works with any TOTP-based (Time-based One-Time Password) authenticator app. Popular options include:
  • Google Authenticator — Available for iOS and Android
  • Authy — Available for iOS, Android, and desktop
  • 1Password — Built-in authenticator in the password manager
  • Microsoft Authenticator — Available for iOS and Android
If you already use one of these apps for other services, you can add VozAgent to the same app. You don’t need a separate app.

Enabling 2FA

  1. In the Two-Factor Authentication card, click the Enable 2FA button.
  2. A dialog will appear with a QR code.
  3. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code.
  4. If you can’t scan the code (for example, if you’re setting up on the same device), click the copy button next to the manual entry code and paste it into your authenticator app.
  5. Your app will begin generating 6-digit codes that refresh every 30 seconds.
  6. Enter the current 6-digit code from your app into the Verification Code field.
  7. Click Verify & Enable.
Once enabled, the card will show a green confirmation message: “Two-factor authentication is enabled.” Important: After scanning the QR code, make sure to save or back up the manual entry code in a secure place. If you lose access to your authenticator app (for example, if you lose your phone), you’ll need this code to set up 2FA again on a new device.

Disabling 2FA

If you need to turn off two-factor authentication:
  1. In the Two-Factor Authentication card, click the Disable 2FA button.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  3. Enter the current 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app.
  4. Click Disable 2FA to confirm.
Note: Disabling 2FA makes your account less secure. We recommend keeping it enabled, especially if your account has admin or founder-level access.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I lose my phone? If you saved the manual entry code (the text code shown during setup), you can enter it into an authenticator app on your new phone. If you didn’t save the code, contact VozAgent support for help regaining access to your account. Can I use 2FA on multiple devices? Yes. Some authenticator apps like Authy support syncing across devices. Alternatively, you can add the same manual entry code to authenticator apps on multiple devices during setup. Do I need to enter a code every time I sign in? Yes. Each time you sign in, you’ll need to enter a fresh 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Can I require 2FA for all team members? Currently, 2FA is set up individually by each user. There is no organization-wide enforcement setting. We recommend that all users, especially admins, enable 2FA on their accounts.
