Contacts are the people your AI assistant calls and interacts with. VozAgent automatically creates contacts from inbound calls, but you can also add them yourself — individually, in bulk via CSV, or by pasting from a spreadsheet.

Opening the Add Contact Panel

  1. Go to Contacts in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add Contact in the top right corner.
You’ll see a panel with three tabs for different ways to add contacts:
  • Add single contact — Fill out a form for one person
  • Import from CSV — Upload a CSV file with multiple contacts
  • Copy/paste — Paste rows from a spreadsheet (like Excel or Google Sheets)

Adding a Single Contact

The single contact form has the following fields:

Required Fields

  • First Name — The contact’s first name
  • Phone Number — Their phone number (with country code selector)

Optional Fields

  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Company — The company they work for or own
  • Job Title
  • Status — Set to Active, Inactive, or Do Not Call
  • Preferred Contact Time — When they prefer to be reached (e.g., “9AM-5PM EST”)
  • Tags — Custom labels for organizing contacts (type a tag and press Enter)
  • Notes — Any additional information about this contact
Fill in at least the first name and phone number, then click Add contact.
Tip: Check the “Add another contact” box at the bottom if you want to keep adding contacts one after another without closing the panel.

Duplicate Detection

VozAgent automatically checks for duplicate phone numbers and email addresses. If a contact with the same phone number or email already exists, you’ll see a warning and the duplicate won’t be created.

Importing from CSV

If you have a list of contacts in a spreadsheet, export it as a CSV file and use the Import from CSV tab to upload it in one step. This is the fastest way to build your contact list.

Copy/Paste from a Spreadsheet

The Copy/paste tab lets you paste rows directly from Excel or Google Sheets. Copy your contacts from the spreadsheet, paste them into the text area, and VozAgent will parse the data automatically.

Contact Statuses

Every contact has a status that controls how VozAgent interacts with them:
  • Active — The default status. Your assistants can call this contact and they appear in campaign lists.
  • Inactive — The contact is paused. They won’t be included in outbound campaigns.
  • Do Not Call — The contact has opted out or should not be called. VozAgent will block all outbound calls to this number.
You can change a contact’s status at any time from their detail page.

Viewing and Editing a Contact

Click on any contact in your list to open their detail page. From there you can:
  • Edit their personal information, company details, and address
  • Add or remove tags
  • View their call history with your assistants
  • Add internal notes
  • Initiate an outbound call to them
  • Send an email or open WhatsApp

Filtering and Searching

The Contacts page includes filters to help you find who you’re looking for:
  • Status filter — Show All, Active, Inactive, or Do Not Call contacts
  • Search — Search by name, phone number, or other fields
  • Date range — Filter by when contacts were last contacted

Bulk Actions

Select multiple contacts using the checkboxes to perform bulk actions:
  • Export selected contacts to CSV
  • Add tags to all selected contacts at once
  • Update status for multiple contacts
  • Delete selected contacts

How Contacts Get Created Automatically

When someone calls your VozAgent number for the first time, a new contact is automatically created with the information your assistant collects during the call (name, phone number, email, etc.). These contacts show a source of “VozAgent Call” in their metadata.

Next Steps

Now that you have contacts in your system, you can:
  • Check your dashboard to monitor call activity and analytics
  • Set up an outbound campaign to reach out to your contacts at scale
