The Security tab in Settings is where you manage your login credentials and protect your account. You can change your email address, update your password, and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for an extra layer of security. To access these settings, go to Settings in the sidebar and click the Security tab.

Changing Your Email Address

To update the email address you use to sign in:
  1. In the Change Email card, you’ll see your current email displayed in a read-only field.
  2. Enter your new email address in the New Email field.
  3. Click Update Email.
VozAgent will send a verification email to your new address. You’ll need to click the confirmation link in that email before the change takes effect. Until you confirm, your old email will continue to work for sign-in.

Changing Your Password

To update your password:
  1. In the Change Password card, enter your Current Password.
  2. Enter your New Password (must be at least 8 characters long).
  3. Enter your new password again in the Confirm New Password field.
  4. Click Update Password.
You can toggle password visibility using the eye icon next to each password field. After a successful password change, you’ll be signed out automatically and redirected to the login page. You’ll need to sign back in with your new password. Tips for a strong password:
  • Use at least 8 characters (the minimum requirement).
  • Mix uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Avoid using the same password you use on other sites.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account. When enabled, you’ll need to enter a 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app each time you sign in, in addition to your password.

Supported Authenticator Apps

VozAgent works with any TOTP-based authenticator app, including:
  • Google Authenticator
  • Authy
  • 1Password
  • Microsoft Authenticator

Enabling 2FA

  1. In the Two-Factor Authentication card, click Enable 2FA.
  2. A dialog will appear with a QR code.
  3. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code. If you can’t scan it, click the copy button next to the manual entry code and enter it into your app.
  4. Your authenticator app will start generating 6-digit codes that refresh every 30 seconds.
  5. Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the Verification Code field.
  6. Click Verify & Enable.
Once enabled, you’ll see a green confirmation: “Two-factor authentication is enabled” with a shield icon.

Disabling 2FA

If you need to turn off two-factor authentication:
  1. In the Two-Factor Authentication card, click Disable 2FA.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  3. Enter your current 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app.
  4. Click Disable 2FA to confirm.
Note: Disabling 2FA makes your account less secure. We recommend keeping it enabled.

Account Deletion Warning

If your account has been scheduled for deletion, a prominent warning banner will appear at the top of the Security tab. It shows the scheduled deletion date and provides a Cancel Deletion & Restore Account button that lets you reverse the deletion request at any time before the scheduled date.

Privacy & Data

The Privacy & Data tab (separate from Security) provides tools for managing your data:

Your Data Overview

A summary showing counts of all data stored in your account, organized by category:
  • AI Assistants
  • Contacts
  • Call Records
  • Knowledge Bases
  • Phone Numbers
  • Appointments

Exporting Your Data

You can download a complete copy of your data in JSON format (GDPR compliant). The export includes your profile information, business profile, assistants, contacts, call logs, knowledge bases, phone numbers, campaigns, and appointments. Click Download My Data to generate and download the file.

Data Protection

VozAgent protects your data with:
  • Encryption — All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 encryption.
  • Isolation — Your organization’s data is completely isolated from other organizations with row-level security.
  • Retention — Data is retained only as long as your account is active. You can request deletion anytime.
  • PII Redaction — Personal information in logs is automatically redacted to protect caller privacy.

Activity Log

The Activity Log tab shows a chronological record of actions taken within your organization over the last 30 days. Each entry includes:
  • Action — What happened (e.g., Login, Assistant Create, Contact Update, Data Export).
  • User — Who performed the action, with “(you)” indicated next to your own actions.
  • IP Address — The IP address from which the action was performed.
  • Category — The type of action (create, update, delete, login, etc.).
  • Date — When the action occurred, shown as relative time (e.g., “2 hours ago”).
You can click on any log entry to expand it and view additional details in JSON format, including the resource ID and full timestamp. Activity logs are retained for 90 days. If you notice any suspicious activity, change your password immediately and contact VozAgent support.
