VozAgent keeps phone number pricing straightforward. This article explains what you pay for phone numbers, how per-minute charges work, and what happens when you need more numbers than your plan includes.

What Is Included in Your Plan

Every VozAgent plan comes with a set number of phone numbers at no extra cost:

These included numbers are part of your monthly subscription. There is no separate line item for them on your bill.

Adding Extra Phone Numbers

If you have used all the phone numbers included in your plan and need more, you have two options:

Option 1: Purchase an add-on number

You can add individual phone numbers to your account for $5 per month each. This is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. To add an extra number:
  1. Go to Phone Numbers in your dashboard
  2. Click Add Phone Number
  3. If you have reached your plan limit, a prompt will appear with two choices:
    • Purchase Additional Number — adds one number for $5/mo
    • Upgrade Your Plan — takes you to the billing page to move to a higher tier
Click Purchase Additional Number to proceed. You will be taken to a checkout page to confirm the purchase. Once complete, you can search for and get a new number.
Note: Only admin users can purchase additional phone numbers. If you are not an admin, you will see a message to contact your organization admin.

Option 2: Upgrade your plan

If you need several more numbers, upgrading to a higher plan may be more cost-effective. For example, moving from Essential (1 number) to Growth (3 numbers) gives you two additional numbers included in the plan price. To upgrade, go to Settings > Billing in your dashboard.

Per-Minute Call Charges

In addition to the monthly cost of the phone number itself, there are per-minute charges for actual phone calls. These charges depend on your plan and usage:
  • Plan minutes — Each VozAgent plan includes a set amount of call minutes per month. Calls within your included minutes have no extra charge.
  • Overage minutes — If you exceed your plan’s included minutes, additional minutes are billed at your plan’s overage rate.
The per-minute cost covers the underlying telephony (making and receiving the call) as well as the AI processing (your assistant listening and responding). You do not need to worry about separate charges from a phone provider — VozAgent bundles everything together.
Tip: You can track your minute usage from the Dashboard home page and from Settings > Billing.

Bring-Your-Own Number Costs

If you connect your own phone number from a provider like Twilio, the billing works differently for the number itself:

With a BYO number, you pay your provider (e.g., Twilio) for the phone number itself, but all VozAgent features — AI call handling, transcripts, recordings, and per-minute charges — are covered by your VozAgent plan, the same as any other number.

Viewing Your Current Usage

To see how many phone numbers you are using relative to your plan limit:
  1. Go to Phone Numbers in your dashboard
  2. If you are at or near your limit, a notice will appear when you try to add a new number
  3. The notice shows your current count, plan limit, and any add-ons (e.g., “3 from plan + 1 add-on”)
For detailed billing information, go to Settings > Billing in your dashboard.

Cancelling an Add-On Number

If you no longer need an extra phone number:
  1. Delete the phone number from your dashboard
  2. The $5/mo add-on charge will be removed from your next billing cycle
Deleting a number that was included in your plan does not reduce your bill — those numbers are part of your subscription.
