VozAgent can notify you about important events — new calls, completed appointments, billing updates, and more. The Notifications tab in Settings lets you control exactly what notifications you receive and how they’re delivered.
To access these settings, go to Settings in the sidebar and click the Notifications tab.
Each notification is controlled by a simple on/off toggle. Changes take effect immediately — there’s no save button needed.
Email Notifications
The Email Notifications card controls which updates are sent to your account email. Each toggle has a title and description so you know exactly what you’re subscribing to.
Available email notifications:

| New Call Received | Get notified when your AI assistant receives a new call. |
| Call Completed | Receive notifications when calls are successfully completed. |
| Call Failed | Get alerted when calls fail or encounter errors. |
| Weekly Activity Summary | Receive a weekly summary of your call activity. |
| Monthly Report | Get comprehensive monthly reports and insights. |
| New Assistant Created | Get notified when new AI assistants are created. |
| New Contact Added | Receive notifications when contacts are added to your list. |
| Low Balance Alert | Get alerted when your account balance is running low. |
| Team Member Joined | Receive notifications when new members join your team. |
| Billing & Payments | Get updates about billing, invoices, and payment status. |
SMS Notifications
The SMS Notifications card lets you receive instant text message alerts for important events. This is especially useful if you’re out in the field and want immediate updates.
Setting Up Your SMS Phone Number
Before you can receive SMS notifications, you need to enter your phone number:
- In the Phone Number for SMS field, enter your phone number with country code (e.g.,
+1 (555) 123-4567).
- The number is saved automatically when you leave the field.
Available SMS Notifications

| Call Summary | Get a text after each call with caller info and appointment status. |
| Payment Failed | Get alerted when a payment fails. |
| Low Balance | Receive a text when your account balance is low. |
SMS notifications are designed to be concise and focused on the most critical events, so you’re not overwhelmed with texts while you’re on the job.
In-App Notifications
The In-App Notifications card controls the notifications you see within the VozAgent dashboard itself. These appear as banners or badges while you’re using the platform.
Available in-app notifications:

| Assistant Updates | Get notified about changes to your AI assistants. |
| Contact Updates | Receive notifications about contact list changes. |
Product & Marketing
The Product & Marketing card lets you control communications from the VozAgent team about the platform itself.
| Notification | Description |

| Product Updates & Announcements | Get the latest news about new features and improvements. |
| Tips & Tutorials | Receive helpful tips to get the most out of the platform. |
| Promotional Offers | Get notified about special deals and promotions. |
These are all optional. Turning them off will not affect any operational notifications about your calls, assistants, or billing.
Recommended Settings for Home Service Businesses
If you’re running a busy home service business, here are some suggested notification configurations:
Must-have notifications:
- Email: Call Failed — So you know immediately if something goes wrong.
- Email: Low Balance Alert — So your AI assistant doesn’t run out of calls mid-day.
- SMS: Call Summary — Get a quick text after each call while you’re in the field.
- Email: Billing & Payments — Stay on top of invoices and payment issues.
Nice to have:
- Email: Weekly Activity Summary — A quick weekly recap of how your AI is performing.
- In-App: New Call Received — See live updates when you’re in the dashboard.
Optional:
- Email: New Contact Added — Useful if you want to follow up manually with new leads.
- SMS: Payment Failed — Adds urgency to billing issues.
